Jeff Pruett
CEO & Co-Founder
I grew up in Pocatello, Idaho, and now live in Meridian — but no matter where life has taken me, I’ve always believed in serving others and giving life everything I’ve got. At 17, I joined the Idaho Army National Guard, where I proudly served for 16 years. My military journey included two deployments to Iraq (2004–2005 and 2010–2011) and roles as an Abrams Crewman, Cavalry Scout, and ultimately an Apache Pilot. One of my proudest moments was graduating as the Distinguished Honor Graduate from flight school — an honor that reflected my dedication and drive to lead from the front.
After my military service, my wife Becky and I built and ran Fashion Freedom, an online women’s fashion boutique that thrived for over a decade. That chapter taught me invaluable lessons about leadership, business, and the art of connecting with people.
Today, I co-own Freedom Payments, where I get to combine my passion for service, business, and integrity. But more than anything, I’m a husband to my amazing wife Becky and a proud dad to four incredible kids who keep life exciting with their energy and love for sports.
Faith is my foundation, and I’m passionate about helping people grow — spiritually, physically, and mentally. When I’m not working, you’ll find me with my family, in the mountains, camping, hunting, or playing sports. If it’s outdoors, I’m all in.
Ryan Miller
President & Co-Founder
Ryan Miller brings a unique blend of military service, law enforcement experience, and executive-level sales leadership to his role as Co-Founder of Freedom Payments. His career began at 18 when he enlisted in the Army National Guard as a 19D Cavalry Scout. While serving in the Guard, Ryan also worked full-time in law enforcement—first as a correctional officer with the Idaho Department of Correction, and later as a deputy with the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office, where he held several tactical positions.
In 2010–2011, Ryan deployed to Iraq with the National Guard. After returning home, he transitioned out of law enforcement to pursue a career in sales—seeking more time with his family and the opportunity to explore new professional challenges. He quickly excelled, rising through the ranks to become Regional Sales Manager and then Vice President of Sales for two leading technology companies in the Treasure Valley.
After more than a decade in the sales world, Ryan teamed up with his best friend and fellow veteran to launch Freedom Payments—a company founded on service, integrity, and the shared mission of supporting small businesses.
Ryan lives in Melba, Idaho with his wife and four children. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and running a small cattle ranch, continuing to live out the values of hard work, family, and community.
Sarah Urbano
Regional Agency Owner
I’m a former Division One college athlete who transitioned from the competitive world of sports to the wild ride of parenthood. I quickly earned the title of “household CEO,” managing three small humans and one larger one. After being humbled more times than I care to admit, I came close to mastering the art of multitasking, problem-solving, negotiating, and delegating tasks based on skill level. I decided to take these hard-earned skills into the world of copier sales, where I found success not just in meeting new people, but in building meaningful relationships, understanding their needs, and helping them achieve their own success. The joy of making a positive impact and contributing to the growth of others is what drives me, and now I’m excited to bring that same passion to helping businesses navigate the world of credit card processing.
Kathie Marion
Chief Financial Officer
With over three decades of experience in corporate bookkeeping and financial operations, Kathie Marion serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Freedom Payments, bringing a steady hand and sharp eye to the company’s financial health and strategic planning. Kathie’s role strengthens the leadership team with deep financial insight, helping guide Freedom Payments through rapid growth and long-term success.
In addition to her role at Freedom Payments, Kathie also owns and operates Freedom Bookkeeping Services, where she provides trusted financial services to small and mid-sized businesses. Her approach is built on transparency, detailed accuracy, and a genuine commitment to her clients’ success.
Kathie began her journey in bookkeeping at just 16, quickly developing a passion for numbers and systems. She has worked under seasoned CFOs and CPAs, sharpening her skills and gaining the hands-on experience that defines her work today.
When she’s not balancing books, Kathie enjoys riding her Harley alongside her husband Dan, spending quality time with their 13 grandchildren, and exploring the outdoors with their three dogs. Whether she’s camping, hiking, or simply getting lost in the mountains, she brings the same sense of focus and joy to every adventure.
Mark Saylor
Regional Agency Owner
Mark Saylor brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record of success to the Freedom Payments team. He holds a degree in Economics from UC Davis and began his sales career with Xerox, where he built a solid foundation in business development and client relations.
Over the years, Mark transitioned into medical and healthcare sales, holding key positions at industry-leading companies including Johnson & Johnson Orthopedics, Baxter International, Cardinal Health, and Vocera Communications. Throughout his career, he has consistently focused on improving patient care and outcomes, which allowed him to build lasting relationships at every level — from individual providers to large health systems.
Mark's commitment to creating win-win solutions for both his clients and his employers has led to numerous accolades, including multiple President’s Club awards. His ability to navigate complex sales environments with professionalism and integrity makes him a valuable asset to the Freedom Payments team.
Now based in Boise, Idaho, Mark lives with his wife Dianne and enjoys life as a proud parent to grown, successful children. He brings the same passion and drive to Freedom Payments that he has demonstrated throughout his career.
Matthew Wilson
Operations Manager
Matthew Wilson is the Operations Manager at Freedom Payments, bringing over 10 years of experience in operations management, process optimization, and team leadership. With a strong focus on streamlining operations and driving efficiency, Matthew is dedicated to delivering exceptional solutions that enhance client satisfaction and overall business performance.
Before joining Freedom Payments, Matthew served as a Master Sergeant in the Idaho Army National Guard, where he developed outstanding leadership, strategic planning, and logistical skills. Over the course of his military career, Matthew led teams through complex operational challenges, optimizing workflows and coordinating large-scale projects. His military experience has instilled in him a strong commitment to discipline, accountability, and results-driven success.
